Today let's rewind a bit. To the time when you started your own blog, a completely new domain. No idea of how to manage a blog, what recipes to post, how to make your food look good and what not....Bundled with so many questions and doubts, you started taking the baby steps. And in phase like this, you met a fellow blogger or a reader who helped you, appreciated you and became a friend. A friend to be cherished. Did you pass this phase? I did. And as an acknowledgement to that, I am glad to announce the start of "Friendship Chain- Spread the Speciality". Did I mention that I am also happy that this picture of mine fits the theme perfectly of friendship.
What is Friendship Chain?
Friendship Chain is very much a food event, just that it's by invitation. So every fortnight, a guest host chooses a fellow blogger to post a guest entry at the host's post. And then the chosen blogger becomes the host and selects her choice of guest blogger. So the series becomes the Friendship Chain, which helps us to know more and more valuable bloggers.
Is there a theme for recipes?
Though there is no theme for entries by guest blogger, yet our aim is to "Spread the Speciality" i.e. to post a speciality recipe, a speciality either of the native place/ cuisine one belongs to or speciality of one's cooking but something special, which increases the learning level.
What are the timelines of the post?
Friendship Chain - Spread the Speciality will be hosted at a fortnightly basis. Roundup of the event every month will be done at Taste Junction.
What are the deciding factors in choosing a Guest Blogger?
The choice of guest blogger is completely at the discretion of the host. So while choosing a fellow blogger, apart from the emotional reasons also keep in mind the novelty and specialty the blogger could bring to the chain.
When is this chain/event starting?
This chain is starting from 1st of June 2011 (in just 2 days) with a delectable Indian sweet from the state of Tamil Nadu (Didn't I tell it will be a speciality).
